A personal project in Northern California to rebuild our sense of community organically through random free coffee meet ups.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Meet up at random places.
  2. Drink fancy pants coffee via pour over, prepared properly and with respect.
  3. Coffee is free and black — no agenda other than to hang out, man.
  4. Choose a mug.
  5. Keep the mug if you want it.
  6. Pick up some trash around where we meet. Or don’t.
  7. One bag of beans each session. Once it’s used up, shop closes.
  8. Try to live it not record it.

Here are the No-Nos:

  • No laptops or headphones.
  • No to go cups.
  • No personal cups.
  • No monetary exchanges or donations.
  • No asshats.
